چکیده

This paper describes a procedure for the simulation of passive filters using switched-current techniques, where sensitivity reduction is obtained by swapping the positions and roles of pairs of identical elements at successive switching periods. The technique can produce significant reduction of sensitivity to element mismatches at low cost in terms of added complexity and without reducing the operating speed of the circuit. The technique is exemplified for application to component-simulation switchedcurrent filters.

Torque Ripple Reduction in Switched Reluctance Motors by Rotor Poles Shape and Excitation Pulse Width Modification

In this paper, at first, a 24/16 three-phase switched reluctance motor is designed, then the rotor poles shape tips corrected for reduction ripple of single-phase torque waveform. By doing this, the single-phase torque waveform has a flat surface and consequently, the single-phase torque ripple is reduced. Also, due to the commutation between the machine phases, the torque drops during this tim...

Unbalanced lattice switched-current filters

This paper shows how switched-current filters can be derived from passive filters obtained by the unbalancing of doubly terminated LC lattice structures. The process is similar to what would be done for the simulation of more conventional ladder structures, but the use of lattice prototypes allows the realization in an almost physically symmetrical structure. A comparation of sensitivity charac...

Bit Swapping Linear Feedback Shift Register For Low Power Application Using 130nm Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor Technology (TECHNICAL NOTE)

Bit swapping linear feedback shift register (BS-LFSR) is employed in a conventional linear feedback shirt register (LFSR) to reduce its power dissipation and enhance its performance. In this paper, an enhanced BS-LFSR for low power application is proposed. To achieve low power dissipation, the proposed BS-LFSR introduced the stacking technique to reduce leakage current. In addition, three diffe...

Switched-Resistor Filters-A Continuous Time Approach to Monolithic MOS Filter Design

Absfruct-A method of designing continuous-time active RC filters which employ only capacitors and FET transistors is presentedl. The effective RC time constants of these filters are determined by capacitor ratios. The filters employ switched resistors. These filters can uric any existing active RC or passive RC topology as the basis for the design and inherit the sensitivity properties of the c...

A Design of Narrow-Band Band-Pass

C l c3 Abstract-In this paper, a design method is described for low-sensitivity narrow-band band-pass switched-capacitor filters (SCF's) using a pseudo-2-path principle and a capacitor-error-free voltage inversion. The proposed method is based on the low-pass to high-pass transformation using voltage inversion, the pseudo2-path principle, the capacitance-ratio reduction technique and a very low...
